Did Adam and Eve sin?

They disobeyed God by eating from the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. (Right and Wrong) So yes. Right?

How could Adam and Eve have been expected to comprehend the implication of their actions if, prior to their indiscretion, they had no concept of wrong, evil, punishment, suffering, and death? Even if God…

Your question is an amalgam of misconceptions and omissions in scriptural knowledge. No offense intended.

Well the way I see it. We are living in a time or dispensation that is not the same as the dispensation that Adam & Eve lived. So we read his word and try our very best to live according to how he would wants us to live, so there fore since they did not have the bible like we do. but they it better cause they actually had God telling then what to do, so if God told her and him not to eat of the fruit and they disobeyed God then it would be a sin. No matter whether they knew the difference between good and evil. The fact still remains that anytime we or they disobey God it is a sin.

There are people who have self assurance that they have been given 2 at the same time unique commandments, stay interior the backyard sinless and clueless and immortal with out posterity vs leave the backyard, grow to be mortal and characteristic babies, take a guess on sin and place self assurance in Atonement. we would desire to consistently be grateful that Eve took the lead and allowed us to return into being. the different determination could have annoyed God’s plan however the alternative had to be freely made.

Yes they do. The first sin is arrogance, because it will lead to disobeying what God command (ie Iblees refuse to follow God’s command to honor Adam by prostrating him).
The second concept of sin is doing what is forbidden after have been told not to (God told Adam and Eve not to eat because they will be among the wrongdoer, but they did it because of Iblees temptation)

So the 2 sins are: Not doing what we’re commanded to do, and doing what we’re commanded not to do.

End of case

God did command Adam about the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil before he ate from the fruit.

Gn 2:16-17

The Lord God gave man this order: “You are free to eat from any of the trees of the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and bad. From that tree you shall not eat; the moment you eat from it you are surely doomed to die.”

My neighbor feels the real mistake was in hiding from God and lying about what happened, blaming each other. He feels that if they had trusted God to fix things, a friendlier solution could have been worked out. The whole issue really was: Do you trust your creator?

first corinthians 15;22 For as in Adam all die so in Christ shall all be made alive. Yes the wages of sin is death .

There was no sin, before when god made adam and eve he did not intend to create sin…..But when they disobeyed him. sin came!

He told them not to do it, and they did. When somebody gives you life, you better damn well obey them unless you want to be hit in the head with a frying pan.

God asked them for obedience, not understanding why.
