All history is written from a perspective (point of view). Can someone be completely objective when writing/reading about history?

History is not bare facts, it is people and interpretation. I agree with your statement entirely. Look at stone age history – dull as can be because we have no individuals to make it come alive.
Look at today’s events, they will be history in a few years and perhaps a different version from the footage we see on TV. The twin towers is an example – how will people look at that event in 50 years time? George Bush – hero of the hour a few years ago, now clownish figure.
