With chatter about the Mayan apocalypse intensifying as Dec. 21 approaches, you may have seen that while the ancient Mayan calendar “ends” on that day, the Maya themselves would not have seen that as the end of the world. But how does the Mayan calendar work, But the basic principle is simply that the…
Its already december 21st in Asia
thats a wrap
Nice but for me The Mayan Baktuns are just circles scratched in rock! We don’t use the Mayan calendar anymore.
But I have 2 much better proofs the world doesn’t end on 12/21.
1. I have a yogurt in the fridge which doesn’t expire till January 29th 2013.
2. Yahoo, the big boss authority around here, says I have 4 days left to answer! How can there be 4 days left if the world ends tomorrow?
The Mayans said NOTHING of a doomsday state of affairs. They mentioned a “exceptional trade.” The occasion so as to arise on December 21 at eleven:11 AM is the same occasion that has happened every 26,000 years on the grounds that the earth began, and so far, the thing remains to be here. So, individually, i don’t see something drastic taking place. Nevertheless, with the way the sector is watching nowadays, i wouldn’t be surprised if mankind ends itself by using 2012.
answering after the world has survived the perceived the apocalypse. This whole idea was a complete sham… putting it simply, the maya calendar works in cycles, restarting after the last ends. Also the maya foresaw that our world ends by a series of natural disasters. There is no link between these unrelated phenomena. The maya have a cyclical calendar and they foresaw that the world would end by natural disasters… it was us who assumed that these were linked.
I stopped reading at:
“you may have seen that while the ancient Mayan calendar ‘ends’ on that day”
The Mayan calendar doesn’t end. Nothing more to say.
Okay so why don’t you spend the next 4 days inside your underground trashcan with a 5lb jar of mayonnaise and a tinfoil hat. I’ll have the psych ward call you on your paper cup phone, after Christmas.
<QUOTE>Proof That Dec 21, 2012 Is Not Doomsday?</QUOTE>
Of course: look at all the failed doomsday dates. http://abhota.info/end1.htm
You’d expect that people would have caught on by now, don’t you?
I haven’t bothered to read your pointless waffle. The world will not end if that is what you want to know.
I think you post contains tryptophan.
We alreay know it’s a hoax.
